A shooting following a concert by Nas, SchoolBoy Q and Flying Lotus at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Denver last Thursday, June 19th, left three people wounded.

According to NBC News, the three victims were shot in the parking lot of the venue. They fled the scene in a white SUV, but were found later in downtown Denver. Police were called to the scene and all three were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Red Rocks is located ten miles outside of Denver.

“We heard more than eight gunshots in a row,” said witness Patricio Illanes. “Then saw an SUV take off and we paused for a minute. We didn’t hear anyone yelling or anything like,” he said. “At the time we were thinking the situation might have been fireworks.”

The SUV sped off and kept driving until it was stopped by police. Schoolboy was briefly detained because the SUV ran several red lights and didn’t immediately pull over as police pursued them with flashing lights.

All three people in the vehicle were wounded. One was treated and released. The other two remain hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

SchoolBoy sent out a tweet saying he was OK.
