The track for Kranium’s “Nobody Have to Know” has opened doors for New York-based producer Lamar ‘Lala’ Reynolds.
The track which was released last April has become a party favorite, not only in Jamaica but also in America’s tri-state area.

“We knew it was a hit, but I didn’t expect it to reach this far. It exceeded my expectations,” Reynolds told the Jamaica Observer.

The 23-year-old who is the son of RUN DMC’s founding member Lloyd Simmons got his break in 2010 when he produced “Nothing a Change”, a collaboration with Gentleman and Da Professor. His latest productions include a mixtape for American rapper Jo Jo Simmons called Perfecting the Craft.

“It has a lot to do with networking, while producing good music. I don’t flood myself with numerous projects at once. This way I can spend quality time on each,” he said.

He recently produced Elephant Man’s track called Shmoney Dance and is currently working on dancehall deejay Erupt’s album and Kranium’s EP.
