Lady Saw is promising a whole different vibe in her new album Alter Ego which will be released in November.

She plans to launch her foundation to assists abused and needy women, also called Alter Ego, on the same date.

Saw told Jamaica Observer that she benefitted from the assistance of many people when she was a teenager growing up and she wants to lend her assistance to the distressed. She added that the idea for the foundation was conceived when she attended a women’s conference in Montego Bay.

“I was so surprised, by the time conference was over, a lot of women came up to me, encouraging me and offering their support,” she said.

The album, has two gender-driven songs: Pretty Fingers and Me and Mi Ex, as well as a soca song and gospel. Saw says it is her most diverse album to date

Sales from Alter Ego will be used to fund the foundation
