Jennifer Lawrence finally broke her silence on the hacking scandal during her interview with Vanity Fair. She called the scandal a “Sex crime” and said that those who indulged by looking at the photos should cower in shame.

Wendy Williams had an opposing attitude to J-Law’s stance on the issue. In the #HotTopics segment of her show on October 8th, Wendy Williams weighed in on J-Law’s Vanity Fair interview sharing sentiments that were in-line with some of the internet’s uglier responses to the hacking.

Wendy admitted to seeking out the photos and basically claimed that Lawrence no longer has a say whether it’s all right for people to look at her stolen photos. “Um, it’s not your choice, it’s in the Cloud and I’ve looked several times. So I guess I’m disgusting for looking?” the talk show host said. “Clap if you’ve looked at Jennifer Lawrence’s hacking pictures,” she then asked her audience, before saying, “Jennifer Lawrence, you wanna know what? Don’t sweat this, young lady. I mean, you’re the one who took the pictures.”

She also went on to say that the problem would disappear if J-Law stops talking about it
