Lincoln “Style” Scott, an original member and drummer of Roots Radics Band, was killed last week at his home in Manchester.

The 58 year old drummer was found who contributed to hits such as Barrington Levy’s “Looking my Love”, Gregory Isaacs “Night Nurse” and Bunny Wailer’s “Rock N’ Groove” was found dead by police at his house in Williamsfield district. The police claimed that there was reports of gunshots being heard around the same time of his Scott’s death.

The Jamaican musician was also the leader of the Dub Syndicate Band, a band he coordinated with British reggae historian/producer Adrian Sherwood and he was rated #4 on’s top 10 reggae drummers list.
