Missy Elliot, who has stayed out of the spotlight since her last album in 2005, introduced her dramatically slimmer new body to the world, while performing at the Alexander Wang & H&M collection launch at Fort Washington Avenue Armory in New York City on Thursday.

In an energetic performance, Missy looked quite happy in her “Wang” baseball cap and leather pants as she moved the crowd with hits like “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It,” and “Lose Control.”

After her performance, she shared a photo of herself wearing a tracksuit and hat on Twitter with the caption: “Just got off stage thanks @ALEXANDERWANGNY and @hmusa for having me perform I enjoyed [muah!]”

Missy’s weight loss can be attributed to her battle with Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid and can cause nervousness, excessive sweating, weight loss, and palpitations.
