Maybach Music’s Meek Mill was released from prison yesterday, after serving a three- to six-month sentence for violating probation, stemming from a 2008 gun and drug conviction. Meek — real name Robert Williams — had served eight months in jail and began five years of probation in the fall of 2009.

Meek Mill will not be able to travel outside of Pennsylvania until he completes community service and treatment programs, so for now, touring will not be possible. For that, his sophomore album Dreams Worth More Than Money may continue to be delayed.
