Details about the cause of the tragic murder-suicide of rapper Earl Hayes and his wife Stephanie Moseley are slowly emerging. Last night, Hayes shot Moseley over claims that she had been unfaithful, and now TMZ is reporting that Hayes believed that singer Trey Songz was involved in his wife’s infidelity,

It’s reported that Hayes and Moseley had separated for two years because Hayes believed that his wife had an affair with Songz. They later reconciled but a source said that Hayes “was crushed and never got over it.”

Hayes reportedly brought up Songz a lot and accused Moseley of having affairs with other singers as well. Besides being on the VH1 hit series, Hit The Floor, she was also a backup dancer to stars like Songz, Chris Brown and Usher.

Hayes, who is the son of legendary singer Issac Hayes’. The two had been married since 2008.
Trey Songz hasn’t addressed these allegations but dedicated a tweet to Moseley last night.
