Legendary black supermodel Beverly Johnson is the latest Bill Cosby accuser to come forward and attest that the comedian had taken advantage of her. In a detailed account to Vanity Fair, Johnson recalled the incident, after which she was allegedly escorted out by Cosby and thrown into a cab. And soon after Johnson’s piece was published, Cosby broke his silence yet again.

In an interview with the New York Post, Cosby did not directly refute Johnson’s or any of his other supposed victim’s claims. He instead made a general statement about the way he believed the story should be covered by “black media.”

“Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind,” he said.

Reportedly in an “upbeat” mood, Cosby also answered a query many people have had: how is his wife – of 50 years – dealing wife dealing with these allegations? He chalked it up to love, strength and womanhood.

“Love and the strength of womanhood,” he said. “Let me say it again, love and the strength of womanhood. And, you could reverse it, the strength of womanhood and love.”
