A cosmetics company just rubbed Jessica Alba the wrong way … now her lifestyle company, worth nearly one billion dollars, is exfoliating the problem and taking them to court.

Cosmedicine fired off a cease and desist letter to Alba’s highly successful The Honest Company last week — claiming her brand name and their “Honest Face” lotion were too similar.

Now Honest Co. wants a judge to settle the dispute … claiming no one’s confusing anything because its bottles are completely different from Cosmed’s, there’s a huge price difference and Cosmed’s lotion is not even on retail shelves yet.

To further drive it home … Honest Co. brags it’s hauled in over $200M in revenue over the past 3 years — and rips Cosmed as a failing line desperately trying to breath new life back into an old product.
