A identification card previously owned by Chris Brown is at the center of a criminal investigation. The singer was reportedly transported to the San Bernardino County Jail back in April while in transit to Washington D.C. to attend a hearing for an assault charge. During his brief stay at the jail, Breezy was given the ID as part of the facility’s protocol. Now, someone has put the card up for sale online for $10,000.

According to TMZ, when Brown left the facility, his ID card was given to personnel. After being passed off to someone in the San Bernardino area, Brown’s lawyer caught wind of the sale and reported it to the sheriff’s department. The person in possession of the ID was located and questioned.

Authorities are still investigating how the ID got off facility grounds.
