Iggy Azalea has received a lot of mixed feedback on her Grammy Awards nominations from social media users to fellow rappers, but that hasn’t dampened the Aussie artist’s mood when it comes to the Recording Academy’s recognition.

In an interview with Billboard, the “Fancy” rapper revealed her thoughts on receiving four nods at this year’s 57th annual ceremony despite the opinions she’s received thus far.

“I didn’t think they would think of me four times. I’m happy they thought of me any times,” the Grand Hustle signee said. “There are so many other award shows that I appreciate winning awards for, but I think it really means something special just to be nominated by the people that you work with and are alongside every day. That’s a different thing. It’s a different level of respect.”

Azalea has mainly come under fire recently for being nominated in the coveted Rap Album of the Year category, being named alongside Eminem, Common, Wiz Khalifa, ScHoolboy Q, and Childish Gambino. We’ll just have to wait and see how the event unfolds on Sunday (Feb. 8) at 8 p.m. on CBS.
