Don’t know much about Season 2 of Empire, other than it’s definitely happening, and Common and Oprah will both make appearances on Fox’s smash hit series.

Lee Daniels told Access Hollywood this week that the Oscar-winning rapper and the media mogul would both guest star on the series he co-created when it returns next season.

“Yes. Yeah. She’s gonna be on it,” Daniels told Access of Oprah, and “Oh yeah, for sure. For absolutely sure. We’re gonna have a good time,” he said of Common.

Daniels had previously said he wanted Oprah, who starred in his movie The Butler, on the show. And Common has publicly said he’d like to appear on Empire, which films in his native Chicago. And now it’s all happening.

When you’ve got people winning Oscars and creating massive hit TV shows and generally winning at life, things just seem to fall into place like that.

Empire’s two-hour season finale airs March 18.
