Diplo might have ended his feud with Taylor Swift, but he may well have angered her fans after comments made in a new interview.
The Major Lazer producer compared the popstar’s fandom – who affectionately call themselves ‘Swifties’ – to that of the organised military forces of Kim Jong-un.
‘It’s like an army that’s worse than North Korea,’ Diplo, 36, told GQStyle.

‘All I know is don’t ever get into a feud with Taylor Swift. She has like 50 million people that will die for her.
‘You can’t step into that arena. That was something I was never prepared for … one of the biggest mistakes of my career was definitely f***ing with her.’
The 36-year-old DJ encountered the wrath of the singer’s supporters in November when he called on his fans to start a campaign to get the Shake It Off hitmaker ‘a booty’.

Diplo was dating Katy Perry at the time, and many saw his comments as further proof that the two pop stars are sworn enemies.
Taylor didn’t respond to the tweet, but her pop star friend Lorde did, saying: ‘Should we do something about your tiny penis while we’re at it hm.

The Grammy-nominated musician mentioned Lorde in the interview: ‘I can go head-to-head with anybody. I don’t care who you are. I didn’t go after Lorde because she’s my friend and she’s a young girl and the one person I kept it cool with.’
And in an interview published last month, Diplo said: ‘Taylor Swift is very strategic with her friends and enemies. And I know lots of secrets. I can’t divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her. And I’m scared. I’m scared for my life.’
