A British couple have won £1 million in the EuroMillions lottery draw for the second time – beating odds of more than 283 billion to one.

The pair, from Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, scooped the big money prize on Friday night less than two years after their previous win.

They are the first people to win £1 million twice and go public, and are expected to reveal their identities later today.

A spokesman for Camelot, which runs the UK national lottery, said: “This is an extraordinary situation where somebody’s been fortunate enough to win twice.
