Tessanne Chin has collaborated with American rapper T.I for two songs on her upcoming album.

Tessanne Amanda Chin, 29, is in the process of releasing a new album, and she’s already collaborated with T.I. real name Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. and producer Lil’ C for the upcoming album which remains untitled.

Winner of the fifth season of American talent show The Voice, she says while she is currently working on a new album and traveling to record and perform, fans can expect at least one more single before the year ends.

While advising artistes to make the best of each opportunity they get, she confesses that performing in Jamaica is one of her most difficult challenges to date.

Chin has never hid the fact that some of her earliest musical influences included old-school rhythm and blues sirens Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin and Patti LaBelle.

She has blended those influences into her latest single and visual, “Fire.”

It was co-written by Balewa Muhammad while produced and released by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League. “Fire” is the first official single released on the newly formed Justice League Music Group.

Released digitally, “Fire” was featured in the Clair Hair TV advertisement which aired during season eight of The Voice earlier this year.
