Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus dropped a bombshell via his Instagram last night.

In a birthday post dedicated to his father, the former UCLA player revealed that he only played football because he thought that was the only way to get his father to love him and be part of his life.

Broadus quit the team back in August to focus on film and his company, Film School Productions. He was considered one of the top 40 football recruits coming out of California. The 18-year-old played in his father’s Snoop Youth Football League and when he decided to attend UCLA, he was one of 20 players from the league to sign on to play for a major college football team.
