For the fourth year running, veteran deejay Ninja-man is sharing his birthday celebrations with the public with what is now being dubbed as the Ocho Rios Festival.

For the first time the event is being staged over two nights, starting tonight.

Ninjaman, whose given name is Desmond Ballentine, explained that tonight’s offering at the festival, will see history being created in Jamaican dancehall music.

“[It’s] the first time, outside of a world sound clash, that you will have six top sound systems and selectors coming together inna one dance – Bass Odyssey, Fire Links, Tony Matterhorn, Ricky Trooper, Pink Panther and Innocent Sound. Yuh never see that happen yet inna Jamaica and is not a world clash. That’s the kind of entertainment Ninjaman is bringing to the people. On the second night is some of the top artiste inna dancehall we bringing to the people,” the deejay explained.

For night two (Saturday) Ninjaman said except for Capleton, all the other advertised acts are down to appear.

The line-up for Saturday night includes Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Busy Signal, Romain Virgo, Ghost, Elephant Man, Professor Nuts, Gully Bop, Luciano, Admiral Bailey, Tarrus Riley and others.

According to Ninjaman, all is set for his two-night event.
