The Anti-Beyonce Rally that took place outside of the NFL’s New York City headquarters on Tuesday, February 16, flopped hard with only a handful of protesters showing up.

As we previously reported, a group was up in arms because the singer saluted the Black Panther Party during her halftime performance of “Formation” at Super Bowl 50. Today they were supposed to publicly air out their grievances.

“Are you offended as an American that Beyonce pulled her race-baiting stunt at the Superbowl? Do you agree that it was a slap in the face to law enforcement? Do you agree that the Black Panthers was/is a hate group which should not be glorified?” the anonymously posted event page said. “Come and let’s stand together. Let’s tell the NFL we don’t want hate speech & racism at the Superbowl ever again!”

“Some of us are surprised that there are only a couple of us out here today,” Ariel Kohane told Rolling Stone. “It is scheduled from 8 to 4 p.m. – it’s a business day. Also, the weather; the rain turned a lot of people away. You know, 6 p.m. would be a better time. Even lunch time – 12 p.m., 1 p.m.”

Or maybe NOT.
