Marvel has just announced that the new Iron Man will not be a man at all. Instead, 15-year-old Riri Williams has been tapped to take Tony Stark’s place in the popular comic series.

According to her backstory, the character is an extremely talented student who attended MIT on a scholarship. Her claim to fame began when she created her own suit of armor that is comparable to that of Iron Man’s. While working on the prototype, Riri showed the progress to a dorm mate, but as she did, campus security came in and questioned about her recent suspicious activity. The young female was then forced to put the self-made armor on, quickly learning of its powers.

Riri’s first appearance was in this year’s Invincible Iron Man #7.

Now the only question is: who will play Riri if when the story hits the big screen?
