Vybz Kartel’s team have revealed that they plan to release 30 new singles by the end of the year and might possibly be dropping a new album soon!

Urban Islandz spoke to a source within Vybz Kartel’s camp who had this to say, “Addi (Vybz Kartel) recorded a huge amount of tracks that never got released. If you knew him before prison then you would have known the he is one of the hardest working artists in dancehall. He was also writing and also at the studio recording. It’s almost like he knew where he would be right now. So we have this large catalog and the best are yet to come.”

Vybz Kartel has released two full length albums as well as a huge number of singles since his 2011 incarceration. His seemingly unlimited supply of music has allowed him to capture and maintain the top spot in dancehall.

Just last week OVO Records singer PARTYNEXTDOOR released his album with a single “Not Nice” sampling Vybz Kartel’s 2011 hit “Girl You Too Bad.”

Kartel, who is serving a life sentence for murder, has filed an appeal and is awaiting his first court hearing. He will be eligible for parole in 35 years.
