On Tuesday evening (Aug. 30), Madame Tussauds Hollywood location presented the figure to the Quintanilla family, fans and celebrity admirers like Erica Mena and Orange is the New Black’s Jackie Cruz. Tussads was introduced to the idea of a Selena figure after thousands of fans rallied together in a Change.org petition in 2015. In the days leading up the big reveal, Tussads’ Twitter account cleverly tweeted hints on which iconic outfit the singer would wear.

The outfit is a recreated stage look from Selena’s performance at the Memorial Coliseum in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Feb. 3, 1993. The bedazzled patterned stemmed from the singer running out of jewels while making the bustier. The figure was reportedly valued at $350,000, but of course, no price can be put on a legend.
