Former N.W.A. manager Jerry Heller passed away over the weekend, and he was still on a bad page with all of the members of the rap supergroup. Up until now, the only people who had commented on his passing was MC Ren, and even he didn’t have much to say.

While at the airport on Sunday, Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr., who played his father in Straight Outta Compton last year, said that the good things Heller had done for the group did not outweigh the bad. He couldn’t bring himself to really find any nice things to say, so he didn’t say too much. Now his father has made a statement, while speaking with news station Local 4 in Detroit over the weekend.

“It’s just ironic that I’m here tonight,” Cube said. “We’ve come a long way, and you know, the passing of Jerry Heller is a thing, that’s a part of life. You know, you come here to pass away. We’re all going to definitely reflect on our time with Jerry, our ups and our downs.”

Still not saying much! Damn, they were REALLY on a bad page! After seeing Straight Outta Compton, though, do you blame them?
