Lady Gaga is allegedly a potential candidate for being the centre of attention at the Superbowl 51 halftime show, according to Billboard. Her performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the Superbowl in 2016 was reportedly enough to impress the NFL.

Gaga has been booming as of late, having been nominated for an Oscar for the Best Original Song category, for her song “‘Til It Happens to You”, as well as winning a Golden Globe. Her upcoming album will be on its way soon, with its first single “Perfect Illusion” already being released.

The eyes of the public have been on a few other artistes, with Kanye West fans attempting to get him to perform at the halftime show using the hashtag #KanyeWestForSuperBowl51, and Adele recently declining an offer made by the NFL to perform.
