A viral video of controversial dancehall artist Ishawna, driving, has caught the attention of the Jamaican police.

In the video, Ishawna is seen driving with one of her legs up and foot planted near the steering wheel, gyrating to Vybz Kartel and Spice’s ‘Ramping Shop.’

Her fans were excited and entertained by her behaviour but reaction from the police was quite the opposite.

“Natalia Smith [Ishawna] is getting out of hand and i’m only sorry an officer wasn’t on the road to give her the full book of the law,” one lawman said, according to TheTropixs.com.

“The video uploaded on her Instagram is displaying reckless driving which is a serious offense and is punishable by fines, imprisonment”

“Her driver’s license should be suspended as she needs to understand that her actions will influence others which could increase road fatalities on our roads,” he added.

The website also reported that Jamaica recorded 320 accidents in which 377 people were killed in 2016 and according to the Road Safety Unit, of the 377 fatalities, 122 were drivers and passengers of private motor vehicles.
