On Friday night (July 6), rapper Future started a mini Twitter tirade demanding that he gets credited for being the inspiration for the younger generation of rappers. Future claims in his twitter rant, that the younger rappers are biting his flow without saying thank you.

As a result, the ‘Honest’ rapper proceeds to call out the young rappers on twitter.

“Enough of these lil niggas running round like I ain’t make y’all,” he tweeted. “I been humble way too long. Your titles and flows came Fm me..stop fuckin playin.”

“Your ad libs MINES..I gracefully gave u a style to run with like it was your own. Thank me #KINGPLUTO.” Future went on to say, “your clothes, flows and hoes I’m the reason #KINGPLUTO.”

Hendrix concluded his rant with, “Only think I ever said in life I didn’t come up with is NOCAP and I made the world say it..NO CAP.”

Future recently released Beastmode 2, the sequel to his 2015 Beastmode. HipHopDX broke down mumble rap’s origin and Future’s role in it during an episode of The Breakdown last year.

Although it is unclear what prompted Future to make these statements demanding credit for mumble rap, the public shared their views on his claim that he made the younger generation of rap.
Some fans believe that Hendrix is indeed entitled to such credit, while others think the credit should go to other rappers, Lil Wayne and T-Pain.
