Mother and manager of Bobby Shmurda recently posted a photo of the incarcerated rapper with the caption saying ‘My baby said “BIG SHMURDA ON THE SET SHOW SOME RESPECT”….. He is maintaining good spirits and will be home before you know it!!!!!.”

Bobby was arrested back in 2016 for one count of third-degree conspiracy and one count of weapons possession, and was ultimately sentenced to 7 years in prison. Bobby will be eligible for parole in 2020 after it was revealed that the time he served before sentencing would be counted to his overall sentence. In early 2017, Shmurda was given a four-year sentence for sneaking a prison shank into his cell. The sentence will run concurrently to his ongoing seven-year sentence, meaning he will not face any additional prison time.

Bobby has engaged in numerous incidents while incarcerated. In May 2015, Shmurda got in a brawl that included members from the Bloods and Crips street gangs. In November 2016, Shmurda was involved in a brawl between several inmates that led to his losing phone privileges for an unnamed period of time and being sent to solitary confinement for a month.

Images of Shmurda whilst incarcerated surfaced online after three years served of a five-year plea deal. Featured photo is Bobby’s most recent photo whilst incarcerated.
