While Vybz Kartel and his co-accused are fighting in court to have their life-sentences and murder convictions revoked by the Jamaica Court Of Appeal, another member of the ‘Gaza Nation’ is being tossed back into the murder case. Vanessa Saddler, better known as Vanessa Bling, was previously brought into the case in 2011 when she made a police report claiming that she was robbed by Clive Williams (Kartel’s Murder Case Victim).

The Jamaican police came to the conclusion that Bling and Kartel faked the robbery report as an attempt to sway the Court Of Appeal into believing that the Clive is not in fact dead. Vanessa was arrested and charged with conspiracy back in 2014 along with Vybz Kartel but the charges were since dropped and Bling was released citing Kartel’s pending appeal as a reason to dismiss the case.

On Tuesday (July 17), Vanessa Bling found herself back on the radar where it concerns the case. Vybz Kartel’s defense attorney, Valrie Neita Robertson, argued that trial judge Lennox Campbell should not have allowed the police report about Vanessa Bling into the murder trial because it had no relevance to the case. The Director of Public Prosecutions can reopen the conspiracy case for Bling and Kartel if they are inclined to. Vanessa can serve up to 3 years in prison if convicted for conspiracy.
