Only 170 days after the release of Black Panther, T’Challa and crew can safely say they have passed the $700 million mark in record time.

The Ryan Coogler MCU film is now officially the third movie in history to get past the $700 million mark, alongside James Cameron’s Avatar ($760 million) and J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

This means that the Chadwick Boseman action drama has earned a whopping 3.46x weekend-to-final multiplier from its $202 million Friday to Sunday frame back in February. Black Panther is also biggest solo superhero movie of all time adjusted for inflation, and it’s officially bigger than any Batman movie and any 007 adventure. Black Panther has earned a total of $1.346 billion internationally (so far).
