Daniel Williams (51) and daughter, Morgan Williams (17) were arrested for selling marijuana and MDMA pills, after investigators raided their home in Cumming, Georgia and a storage unit in Forsyth.

Investigators have been following Morgan for months after being tipped off that a high school student was selling marijuana to her school mates and later found out that her father was also participating in the drug activity. Morgan is a senior dual enrolled at North Forsyth High School and University of North Georgia, where they allegedly distributed drugs to her classmates. Classes at the high school have been in session since the beginning of August. She has been charged with six felonies, including the sale of marijuana, possession of more than an ounce of marijuana, intent to distribute marijuana, intent to distribute MDMA, tampering with evidence and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug-related objects.

Her father has been charged with felony counts of intent to distribute MDMA and use of electronic communications to facilitate a drug offense. During the raid, police uncovered two pound of marijuana, 87 colorful MDMA pills – also known as ‘Molly’ or ecstasy – and $22,000 in cash.

This is not the family’s first run-in with the law. In 2015, mother and wife Elaine Williams was arrested for posting an ad on Craigslist looking to buy a baby for her then-14-year-old daughter Morgan. The charges were later dropped. Daniel had also been arrested recently on suspicion of DUI with possession of prescription pills.
