The ‘shepherd’s son’ character from the early 2000s cartoon network show, Ed, Edd n Eddy, Rolf has become an international meme sensation but when used in a controversial meme on Cardi B’s verified Facebook page, eyebrows were raised.

A meme sporting the character with edited hair with a caption reading ‘ I hope nobody see this Tranny leaving my house,’ was posted on Cardi’s account and she completely denies being the thumbs behind the post. According to Cardi B, the only person who has access to her verified Facebook account for the past year and a half is a “FORMER team player.” An onlooker was quick to point out that Cardi was caught on film using the offensive term earlier this year, moments after the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper denied posting the meme but Cardi expressed that she didn’t know the term was offensive at that time.

“Like I didn’t know that was a word that you cannot use, especially because my trans friends use it and growing up, my parents never told me that that was a bad word,” she said in a live Twitter video from earlier this year, “you know, there’s bad words that your parents teach you that you’re not supposed to say. Nobody taught us that. Nobody taught us that in our school.”
