The Consulate of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in New York, U.S.A., is asking that Vincentians do not visit the Consulate during the period Monday, September 24th to Monday, October 1st, 2018. Passport renewal, collection or authentication of documents services provided by the Consulate would not be made available during this period as a stringent security screening will be put in place to facilitate the hosting of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

In the event of an emergency during the time frame given, citizens of St. Vincent and the Grenadines are asked to contact 212 687 4490 or 212 687 4491 or 212 687 4494, ahead of your arrival. An emergency in this case would be an emergency travel document that can not wait until the Consulate is reopened for traveling services.Following the call, your name(s) will be provided to the building’s security and NYPD/Secret Service/ICE to allow for your screening and access to the Consulate. All persons entering the area will be subjected to screening and searches.
