Kanye West has proven to be a man of surprises. From his infamous 2009 MTV VMAs speech to his recent “slavery for 400 years sounds like a choice” outburst on TMZ Live, to say he’s unpredictable is an understatement.

Now, Kim Kardashian has announced YE’s Yandhi album will be delayed by nearly two months. On Monday (October 1), the Kardashian-West matriarch took to Twitter to break the news. “Nov 23 Black Friday YANDHI TRUST ME it is worth the wait,” she wrote. Yandhi was expected to arrive on September 29, the same night YE dressed up as a Perrier bottle to perform on Saturday Night Live. When it didn’t arrive, Twitter exploded with disappointment.

The rapper also explained to TMZ today that he’s had to push the release date back for the new record because he needs to finish recording it in Africa. West had previously shared an official preview of ‘Yandhi’ with the (now-passed) release date and a clip where he is singing in falsetto. The record is also said to feature controversial rappers 6ix9ine and XXXTentacion.
