Will Smith will be granting wishes once again, and this time it wouldn’t be funding charities but literally granting wishes, or will he?

Will Smith recently posted the cover art for Disney’s remake of Aladdin, captioning, “LEMME OUT!! 🧞 Can’t wait for y’all to see Me BLUE! 🙂 #aladdin,” giving room for assumptions of his possible role in the film. Will’s wife, Jada Smith, already let the secret out the bag back when it was announced that her husband will be playing a role in the film. “He’s playing the genie!” she exclaimed to Jimmy Fallon last year. “And you know what I had to tell him? I said, ‘You know what? This is perfect for you ’cause you always creating magic.’ I had to tell him that.”

A year ago when the filming for the movie began, Will hopped on Facebook and shared an image of his castmates introducing the other stars in the film. “We just started shooting Aladdin and I wanted to intro you guys to our new family… Mena Massoud/Aladdin, Naomi Scott/Princess Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari/Jafar, and I’m over here getting my Genie on. Here we go!” The movie will be in theaters May 2019.
