Melanie Marden, the model that was portrayed as US first lady, Melania Trump recently disclosed that she has been receiving death threats since playing the part in T.I.’s rap video.

Melanie was seen in the video wearing Melania’s infamous ‘I don’t care, do you?’ jacket stripping in the ‘oval office,’ and doesn’t understand why onlookers are taking the video so seriously. “It’s unbelievable people take this so seriously,” she said in an interview. “I’m an independent woman and feed myself, and I look after myself, and it’s surprising people have so much time to focus on somebody who took an acting job versus where’s the cure for cancer.” Melanie also shared that among the death threats she received, one ill-wisher mentioned that they hope she gets raped and murdered.

“Somebody was going to hit me with their car,” she stated in an interview. “Somebody was going to take a baseball bat to me. Somebody wished me to get raped and then killed.” Melanie is also shocked that Melania’s spokesperson commented on the video as well, saying she’s surprised that someone who tends to the first lady has so much time on her hands to comment on a rap video. Melanie is urging people to stop threatening her because “Life’s short.”
