IF you’re a DC fan or just a Wonder Woman fanatic, you may feel a little bummed out by the upcoming information.

The next movie to be based on the ‘woman of steel,’ will be coming out seven months later than it was initially meant to be released. June 5, 2020 is the new release date for the film that was originally slated to drop next November. “Super excited to announce that, thanks to the changing landscape, we are able to put Wonder Woman back to its rightful home,” Gal Gadot tweeted. “June 5, 2020. Be there or be square.” In the tweet, she references the June opening of the first film, and hints that the pushback was to place Wonder Woman back in the successful timing of the original.

Of course, Wonder Woman itself was a breakout hit for DC, and one of the most lucrative films for DC. The sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, was one of the most anticipated films of 2019. Unfortunately, it will no longer be released next year.
