NTRC held the grande finale for their annual I2 competition yesterday (November 14th) at the Kingstown Methodist Church Hall and Team Titans walked away victorious.

St. Vincent Grammar School students Myles Jones and Noah Horne going by the name “Team Titans”, are the winners in the 2018 secondary schools’ mobile application competition.

The competition was organised by the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission’s (NTRC). The boys designed an electronic platform that allows buyers and sellers of agricultural produce to interact with each other.

The open category of the competition was won by “Med Lab” – lab professionals Gerwren Fairbairn and Jeneika Johnney with a mobile application which provides medical laboratory information to it users.

The secondary ideas category was won by Racheal Robertson, Leon-J Robertson and Kazel Ellis, classmates at the Petit Bordel Secondary School (PBSS) who presented and idea for an application to assist disabled persons.
