St. Vincent and the Grenadines has been welcoming a rise in worldwide tourism recognition for the past year and will continue to do so in 2019.

Aside from an increase in cruise ships adding SVG to their port stops, the Grenadine island of Canouan has recently been featured as one of the top tropical destinations for 2019. Coastalliving published their year-round list of places to visit in the coming year and Canouan secured the spot for March. According to the magazine, March is the best time to visit the island due to the warm breeze, blue skies and calm seas which are most mesmerizing around March. Coastalliving also included that March brings the international scene from the UK and France who yacht-hop around St. Vincent and the Grenadines, adding additional fun to party when they tie up for the night.

The publication highlighted some of the vilas that can be found on the island like: Mandarin Oriental (formerly the Pink Sands Club) paired with the stunning villas of Canouan Estate at one end of the island and the ongoing build-out of Glossy Bay Marina, a low-rise and design-forward enclave of marina, shopping, and dining, at the other. Coastalliving also went into some of the activities that can be found on the island.
