John Legend has absolutely no problem with his decision to participate in the surviving R. Kelly docuseries.
One of the only two musicians that appeared in the docuseries, Legend tweeted about his decision, saying that it was a very easy one.

“To everyone telling me how courageous I am for appearing in the doc, it didn’t feel risky at all,” he tweeted as the first episode aired. “I believe these women and don’t give a f**k about protecting a serial child rapist. Easy decision.”

Legend also hails the producer of the docuseries, dream hampton for giving the victims a voice.

“These survivors deserved to be lifted up and heard. I hope it gets them closer to some kind of justice,” he continued.

Though hampton contacted numerous musicians such as Jay-Z, Questlove and Mary J. Blige to appear in the docuseries, Legend was one of only two who agreed to participate.
