The Trinidad-based Seismic Research Centre of University of the West Indies (UWI) has reported that a 4.6 magnitude earthquake occurred on several Caribbean islands early yesterday.

According to SRC, the earthquake was located at latitude: 12.84 north, longitude: 60.64 west and at a depth of 22 km, at around 1:13 am Wednesday morning.

It was felt at 74 km south east Kingstown, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, 118 KM west south west of Bridgetown Barbados and 137 km South, south east of Castries, St. Lucia.

No destruction or injuries have been reported.
