TMZ reported that Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson was hospitalized on Saturday after a suicide attempt. The outlet was told by sources that this was largely because of the backlash from the two-part documentary Leaving Neverland. Paris denied TMZ’s report minutes after it was published.

According to TMZ, the police and EMS responded to a call at Paris’ home in Los Angeles at 7:30 a.m. after she apparently cut her wrists. She was subsequently taken to a hospital and is now in stable condition.

Paris’ alleged suicide attempt was a reaction to the sexual assault allegations against her father in Leaving Neverland, where two men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, speak at length about Michael allegedly molesting them when they were young.
