Union Island primary school, the Stephanie Brown Primary School, recently made history by winning the Inter-Primary Athletic School meet, becoming the first school from the Grenadines to do so.

The team representing the school returned home yesterday to much fanfare from their community. They were greeted on the dock by family, friends, well-wishers and a live band. After being celebrated by a live band and the traditional Big Drums, the champions were escorted through the island by motorcade.
