Buju Banton and Rihanna inevitably linked up over the weekend after the make up mogul/singer traveled back home to Barbados to attend Buju’s show.

Rihanna arrived fashionably late and spent time rubbing shoulders with some of Barbados’ most known and powerful people such as prime minister Mia Mottley, attorney general Dale Marshall, Chairman of the Barbados Broadcasting Authority Dr. Allyson Leacock and CEO of the National Cultural Foundation, Carol Roberts, in the VVIP section.

Buju Banton’s set was well received by his fans and included special guests such as Wayne Wonder, Agent Sasco and Spragga Benz. Though Rihanna wasn’t present for most of the other acts, she managed to catch a bit of Wayne Wonder in Buju Banton’s set.

The Long Walk To Freedom Concert, which was held at Kensington Oval, wrapped up an hour earlier than scheduled and was Buju Banton’s first performance in Barbados in ten years.
