It’s easy to forget, 20 some-odd years on, that Tupac Shakur helped put Jada Pinkett Smith in her first major film role.
Given the role he played in her life, it’s easy to see why Jada still regularly thinks about the late rapper.
“There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about Pac,” she said in an interview with MTV, after telling how Tupac connected her with the movie and convinced her to stay on after he dropped out. “I think about him every single day.”
Jada has been remarkably open about almost all aspects of her life since she launched her Red Table Talk series. She’s shared her addiction to porn, given peeks into her marriage with Will Smith, and opened up about threesomes on the show where it’s expected for guests to be equally open. In a similar vein, she revealed that she was a drug dealer when she first met Tupac during a recent interview on Sway in the Morning.
