Kanye West is taking his love for ‘Sunday Service’ a notch higher. The rapper who will be releasing his first gospel music album ‘Jesus Is King’ on October 25 has now officially converted to Christianity. The 42-year-old’s recent tradition of holding ‘Sunday Service’ in which he shows up somewhere and performs some songs before talking about the issues of the day, including his religious faith, has been a huge indicator that Kanye has been feeling religious lately.
Now, according to a latest report in LadBible, Kanye told the crowd gathered at Howard University in Washington DC, “I want to let you know that I am not here for your entertainment this afternoon. We are here to spread the gospel.Excuse me if I mispronounce anything. I am a recent convert. It means I recently got saved within this year.”

As per the report, thousands of people rushed to the University after they got to know that Kanye was performing. Ditching rap, Kanye held a listening party for his upcoming gospel album titled ‘Jesus Is King’. Kanye, who has addressed himself as Yeezus, also spread the word of God during his University outing. Fans of the singer have been looking forward to some new music as he had last released his album in 2018.
