It’s not at all surprising that anything Rihanna touches turns to gold: Months after launching her fashion line Fenty, she’s snagged her first big award. At the British Fashion Awards in London Monday night, the 31-year-old was presented with the Urban Luxe award for her contributions to sportswear by another icon, Janet Jackson.

“You’re loved for your style, you’re respected as an artist, entrepreneur, and for the first black woman to start a brand with LVMH,” said Jackson.

According to Vogue, the prize was created by the British Fashion Council to honor contemporary labels that elevate the concept of casual. The same award went to Off-White’s Virgil Abloh last year. Rihanna—always repping her own creations—wore a mint-green Fenty minidress (with a bedazzled back), a sheer jacket and gloves, and satin heels in the same shade. Rihanna was previously nominated for her Fenty x Puma collaboration in 2017.
